Rock Me Baby /Johnny Cymbal, Peggy Clinger/
This is not a post about DC's great hit , but about his ..famous boots. He looked incredible in that video ,and I bet he had a lot of fun too. Poor French cameraman didn't know what he liked best - David's boots or his long amazing hair , or his outfit..I love this video. This is the best copy that I know about , but because it belongs to that ego-maniac.., our dear Gary J. B...

The film was directed and co-wrote by Lucas Rainer, with his father Carl and his brother Rob appearances, produced and co-wrote by Roman Coppola (Francis's son) , costumes made by his sister Sofia Coppola( that was her debut, she was only 17 at the time), and believe me it's only the beginning of those family connections. Once David was signed to the project ,a lot of people wanted to take part in it too, stars from the 70s like a former teen idol Leif Garret ( he was sensational as Eddie), and young DC's admires , members of known new wave and rock American groups..And all of them had a lot of fun..This is 'behind the scenes' video in which Olivia d'Abo is talking about kissing David Cassidy, we can see a lunchbox and those two old friends together again ,Rob and David.

The soundtrack was great - Chicago, Carpenters, Bachman Turner, Van McCoy, Peter Frampton, Sweet, Carl Douglas, Bay City Rollers and many more..The film was a flop and truly speaking is not very good, but it was played a lot on cable tv and after all those years it's a kind of classic.
Tom Stockman www.wearmoviegeeks.com. , 2016 : 'It's one of those forgotten classics that for some reason, has been forgotten. It's silly and cheesy, but I remember much of the humor being spot - on. One of my fav aspects of this film are all cameos..and starring roles (..) What fun! The soundtrack is fantastic.'
www.schockcinemamagazine.com.: 'This is the perfect example of an entertaining movie that was a victim of a bad timing. Two decades after his teen idol status on TPF, David Cassidy stars as a time machine inventor'
Stephen Puchalski, 1994 : 'Cassidy (who must be pushing 40, but looks great) brings a good sense of humor to his role.'
