Keith was unhappy in love, couldn't have a steady girl friend, had so many disappointments , not without a reason of course, he was supposed to be available all the time. With each episode, each new girl, fans found out what girls had a chance..Masterpiece of manipulation.

This is a post about some actresses who played Keith's love interests. Some of them became David Cassidy's girls for a while. A teen idol should be avaliable too.

Season Hubley, born in 1951, in New York, she played  a princess, sweet but also adventurous, who made Keith kidnapped her, and first of all kissed her..And it was quite an interesting kiss and I can imagine that collective sigh..'It should have been me, not her'

Season Hubley appeared in mix of supporting or leading roles in the 70s. In 1979 she was Priscilla Presley in the tv movie 'Elvis'. In 1982 she played a prostitute nicknamed..Princess in a scary, awful but also a cult movie called 'Vice Squad'.  Her final credit is from 1999. She was married to Kurt Russell from 1979 to 1983, they have a son.

Robyn Millan, Dora who couldn't sing but was so beautiful that Keith had to be explained the facts of life by his mother and a younger brother.

Robyn Millan was born in 1949, and she was a popular tv actress, debuting in 1965, she appeared in 'Mission:Impossible'. 'The Patty Duke Show' and in 'The Monkees'. For a while DC dated her. Her last tv credit was in 1984.

So many of them had a career only for a short time and disappeared so fast. Like Claire Wilcox, a popular child actor in the 60s, with a lot of also dramatic roles, but she didn't appear in anything after TPF. So sweet and in love with Keith as Cathy in 'Love At The First Sight' episode, and  Cindy who wanted Keith's autograph for her mum. Or Cindy Cassell who played Sally Winkler, or Cathleen Cody - Dina Firmly, or Jane Actman (1949-2018) she was Tina for whom Keith sang 'I Think I Love You', a known actress, but her last credit was in 1979

Of course there were also actresses who became very popular and still are in demand, Annette O'Toole, a serious Carol for whom Keith wasn't just a pretty face. It could have been interesting to see those two in some more episodes..Annette O'Toole was born in 1952, and she is a film and stage actress, dancer, writer, singer and producer and she still works a lot. Or Brooke Bundy (born in 1943), a very busy tv actress , who played a married woman, Dory Kimmel, not interested in Keith. 

And one more, a mermaid, was in his life just for a while..broke his heart and left for another David.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing today's blog just to gossip about DC's private life, it's because I always admired that amazing woman, Kay Ann Lenz. She had birthday yesterday. 3 years younger than David, a few years older than a typical DC's fan.  In the 70s I heard quite a lot about Kay Lenz . She was very popular in Poland, like the rest of the cast of 'Rich Man, Poor Man'. They Said I Changed A Lot..

Let's first listen to something which was not released, why they didn't want David singing that song is a great mystery for me. Listening to his young, sincere, innocent and magical voice is one in a kind moving experience. 'I Just Hated Being In The Show..'

Last week someone posted a screenshot of the article from May 1974, unfortunately without the date or the name of the paper. Written by a popular journalist Roderick Gilchrist, I think it was Daily Express. We can read that this interview took place at London Weekend Television's Building, on the day before the DC's last concert in Manchester.  And David said, "I feel like the door to the cage has just been opened. And, any minute now I'm going to be able to fly right away from my prison.
