Love & Light Always..Part 2

We met on August 25th 2018, me and 4 English ladies, one of our WhatsApp group couldn't make it. We shared  our story with fans, on David Cassidy website.

B. wrote :"We walked along the steps where David sat; we had our photograph taken by a kind stranger as we headed for the pond (the same path he had walked down in 1973) and we all hugged a stone urn the David had hugged too..'

D :'First - Team Hug! It was amazing to think we actually made it. W. all the way from Poland, and some travelling 2 hours or so across London!! (..) It felt like meeting old friends as we chatted so much on line. The garden centre is quite large but we found our way out and went straight to THE place...the hothouse/orangery with the beautiful pond and fountain - just as it was in the Daydreamer video. It was very paceful and we just stood and took in the view...

It was quite emotional remembering a stunningly handsome young guy in a velvet jacket and ripped jeans who had once walked those same paths..Was it really 45 years ago ? Where had the time gone..?

We sat by the pond and statue taking pictures, trying to remember where he walked (..) It was decided we had to walk on all the steps because we weren't sure which ones HE had stood on!!'

The other D. :'A truly wonderful meeting between like-minded DC fans. It felt so natural, like we had known each other for years! I will cherish these memories..May David rest in peace and he know that he truly brought light and love into our lives, in more ways that even he could have imagined..'

And C: '..it felt like we had known each other for years; we couldn't believe we were in the same place as David back in 1973. I had lovely gifts from them, and I wore my David Cassidy T shirt..we had lunch together, the day went too quick..Thank you David for making this happen.'

Yes, it was a day to remember..Truly speaking it wasn't easy for me sometimes, they all spoke at once and each one with a different accent. When I was to say something there was silence and they were trying very hard to understand my spoken English. We drank a bottle of wine at the Orangery, we laughed a lot..but we also remembered David Cassidy in silence..

You can see me on this pic ( and the famous stone urn..)

  1. Dear Weronika,
Thank you so much for the Daydreamer video! I always enjoy this video of David walking along that path, by the fountain, etc. I had always wondered where that place was. Thank you for telling us that it is in London! You and your David friends are so blessed to have walked where he walked, and sat on those steps. Thank you again for such a great blog for David, and us, his fans, complete with great videos and pictures! It is such a wonderful way to keep him with us. I always enjoy hearing from David's fans. God bless you all. Love & Prayers, Judy West at Judywest54@yahoo.com
