How Can We Hang On To A Dream / Tim Hardin

I have no choice, I have to buy a new phone. Great opportunity to remove a lot of pics and messages, and old whatsapp conversations. And while doing this I've found some hidden gems, some videos or articles I've forgotten about, and today instead doing something useful, I've spent some happy hours in my garden watching and listening and reading and admiring. and maybe there are fans who never seen some of  those so..

Let's start with one of my fav videos ..I just can't find words, only that life is so unfair and it should have been me with DC of course, not any of those girls.. He was so gorgeous..It's just incredible that one man had..everything. I've once read an article and  a journalist (a man) wrote that DC had a kind of face 'that launched a thousands ships'.Of course is a known figure of speech that refers to Helen of Troy, not to DC, but such a beauty can be a blessing, but  also a curse.  This amazing video is about making  the cover for David's first RCA album.

Another one is  from the 70s, May 1974, DC in a conversation with Ed Stewart. Also some wonderful screenshots from the DC Official Website, and how nice that Bali Ha'i was his fav song too (at least in 1974)

David singing 'Any Dream Will Do' on Merv Griffin, June 14, 1983. Wonderful, great performance.

Another interview..Very short and nothing what we haven't heard many times..but worth watching

One review, and I'm a kind of a collector of those reviews, written by music critics, fellow fans or just people interested in music. And sometimes they discover DC's albums, maybe they don't know a lot about him, but  they can appreciate his music. Like that one fellow blogger.

Today a lot of fans write about their sorrow, we still miss David. 52 months passed. And I've found in my phone that video..
