'I guess he was more like a brother..'
Suzanne Jesse Crough about David Cassidy during her interview published on www.cmongethappy.com. She said : 'They (her friends) couldn't understand why I wasn't in love with David.' 'Why weren't you?'..he was more like a brother.'

She knew what she was talking about. Born on March 6th, 1963 in Fullerton, California, Suzanne was the youngest of 8 children, started her acting career in commercials. While in The Partridge Family she took riding lessons and got her first horse when she was 10. She showed horses till the age of 18. I wonder if David had known about it..
After TPF she appeared on another tv show, this time short-lived, called Mulligan's Stew.
In 1978 Suzanne did a dock-drama called 'Teenage Father'. I've been searching for it everywhere, it must be somewhere, because its director, Taylor Hackford (Helen Mirren's husband) is 1. a very known director, 2. he also wrote it, 3. he got an Academy Award for that 25 minutes film for Best Short Subject. While receiving the award he thanked Suzanne for wonderful acting.
She appeared in 1980 on one more tv movie called 'Children Of Divorce' and that was all. She graduated from LA Pierce College and till 1993 owned and operated a book store. But first of all Suzanne was a wonderful wife and mother, and sadly only for a very short time, a grandmother. She married the love of her life William Condrey in 1985. They met through a friend when in their 20s.
He said that after marriage she was still interested in acting, but she wanted to focus on their family.
Suzanne and William wanted to celebrate their 30th anniversary in July 2015. She was madly in love with her 1 year old granddaughter..
Suzanne Crough died sitting at her dining room table at her home in Laughlin, Nevada on April 27, 2015, at the age of 52...We still miss you Suzanne..Tracy..
David Cassidy : 'I was saddened to hear of the passing of Suzanne. We didn't know each other well as she was young and shy during the Partridge Family years. I have always thought fondly of Suzanne and her family. My thoughts are with them at this time.' (David Cassidy Official Website)
