Addicted To David..

I'm working on a big project for the website. And while doing it I have to check a lot of info and read again some reviews and articles. 

The concerts' reviews are amazing. Especially those with a lot of details, some written by fans who were going everywhere after David, they saw him many, many times. They were able to notice if he was in a good or bad mood, how he treated fans who ..were obsessed by him. I can't find another word for it. But of course I can understand it, and I'm so grateful that we have that kind of reviews on the website. With a lot of details, info about tickets' prices etc, security issues, about the places he performed in, or people who watched his concerts (not only fans).

I wish we had more reviews, more pics, memorabilia. If you have something, or if you can try to write something, it would be great. Don't hesitate to write, everything coming from the eye witnesses are priceless

'Addicted to David'. Written by Liz Jones of course, she is a known journalist, a former fan, and she's written many times how sex was important part of  the DC's teen idol image. In June 2010 she wrote about Allison Pearson's book. ' We didn't really care what David had to say, we just love the way he looked. The reason we loved his records was not because we loved his musicianship but because we imagined how that breathy voice would feel on our necks..'. We can agree with it or not, but the review is interesting.(and the pic)

And the last one. He said  'I nearly died' while performing in Las Vegas, he was also asked  about Ruby and the Rockits. It's not a long interview, but there was one thing.. sad, about his childhood  -'When I was 5 years old the only thing that made me happy was when they'd take me out and give me pony rides..'

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971. First 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. The film premiered in the UK 30 years ago, on May 13, 1994.  A low budget film, made in 6 weeks, became unexpected success, all over the world, earned just mountains of money, and made of  Hugh Grant international star. It's also a film with a very strong David Cassidy's connection.  The script was written by Richard Curtis (born in 1956), whose partner (they married after many years in 2023), a popular broadcaster Emma Freud, was (and still is) a DC fan.
