I haven't planned to write anything today. I've already written some entries about Las Vegas Star, David's birthday, even a letter with Jane. Today is The Official Star Celebration for the Las Vegas Walk Of Stars Ceremony to acknowledge David Cassidy's contribution to his many years living and working in Las Vegas. Some English fans celebrate this day in Liverpool. And the rest of us, in many countries all around the world are thinking about him and listening to his music. We cherish and share our memories..

Of course I understand that not everybody is impressed or..just sad, because that walk of stars looks..just like a walk of stars, everywhere is the same, so tourists ..'walking on him' . But I think that first of all he is in a very good company, a lot of people would stop, read the name and check him on his phones, also this is our great achievement, and personally I still don't know for 100% what I really think about it. It needs time. I can only say that seeing that STAR for the first time wasn't easy..It was like the official proof that he really died. Of course he died more than 4 years ago, but you know what I mean

But I can't understand fans writing that they know what DC would or wouldn't have wanted..And I've got some comments after publishing my post about The Official Star. Not what I wrote, what an actor DC was etc, but what would David want..even not 'would have wanted', but ' he didn't want' They know..And it started for me at the very early age. I don't trust people who know better.

Of course I never met DC, never saw him in concert, on stage..even for a moment. All my knowledge about him comes from books, articles, videos, tv and radio interviews..and conversations with people who really were his friends. And I know 2 things for sure - he loved his fans ( even those not very nice or those who know better) and he wanted to see his fans happy..That's all.

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971. First 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. The film premiered in the UK 30 years ago, on May 13, 1994.  A low budget film, made in 6 weeks, became unexpected success, all over the world, earned just mountains of money, and made of  Hugh Grant international star. It's also a film with a very strong David Cassidy's connection.  The script was written by Richard Curtis (born in 1956), whose partner (they married after many years in 2023), a popular broadcaster Emma Freud, was (and still is) a DC fan.
