Yesterday was another 21st, 55 months have passed. A lot of time. 

When David Cassidy died it was like the world stopped for a moment. So many tweets from celebrities and fans, so many words full of sadness and regret. So many shared memories. Millions of tweets. A tsunami of love. And really a great amount of articles about David, how he was underrated, how he should have been appreciated, how great impact he had, how wonderful and unique singer he was, and that his legacy would live forever. But the world can stop just for a second and..now we have to ask fans to sign the petition..

Yesterday I read an article wrote in November 2017, by Allen Callaci, a musician (singer), David was the first vocalist who influenced him.  A lot was written in that article about David's 'artistic, emotional honesty', how his 'distinctive, soulful, and yearning voice transcended the layers of bubble wrap that encased him..His voice converted  the sacharine into the sublime - not an easy feat.' Of course, not.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing today's blog just to gossip about DC's private life, it's because I always admired that amazing woman, Kay Ann Lenz. She had birthday yesterday. 3 years younger than David, a few years older than a typical DC's fan.  In the 70s I heard quite a lot about Kay Lenz . Listening to his young, sincere, innocent and magical voice is one in a kind moving experience. 'I Just Hated Being In The Show..'

Last week someone posted a screenshot of the article from May 1974, unfortunately without the date or the name of the paper. Written by a popular journalist Roderick Gilchrist, I think it was Daily Express. We can read that this interview took place at London Weekend Television's Building, on the day before the DC's last concert in Manchester.  And David said, "I feel like the door to the cage has just been opened. And, any minute now I'm going to be able to fly right away from my prison.
