But the petition first. We are making progress, a steady one. How to encourage undecided? How to reach to those who don't know about the London Music Walk Of Fame, and I'm sure there must be quite a lot of such fans. So many don't belong to any DC's group, so many are not on social media at all. We will not go door to door of course..but why not print the logo of our campaign and display somewhere. If you have any ideas, please let us know. We'll keep writing about the petition and we won't give up.

Of course we will have more support from some of many of David Cassidy's famous friends or musicians who worked with him, a lot of people really love the idea of DC getting such recognation, but first of all we, fans, should sign the petition, we must be sure ourselves that David Cassidy was a great singer and he should have that stone. We must believe that it's possible.

And it was something everybody was aware from the start. That David Cassidy had an amazing, unique  voice. People tried to describe it, but sometimes it was (and is) difficult to find the right words. How to write about magic.

From the 'Sound Magazine' review : 'This album is considered TPF's Sgt. Pepper. A real high mark in their short career, of course the only Partridge who actually performed on the records was David Cassidy. And David...boy could he sing..It's good that he took over lead duties as the 3 background singers have a somewhat generic quality when they did lead vocals on the initial album.' 

Oh, yes so true. It's just enough to listen to 'To Be Lovers' and what a difference DC's voice made.

or 'his voice converted the sacharine into the sublime'. Yes, like in 'Love Must Be the Answer'. Not my top fav of TPF's songs and David probably wasn't very happy about it too, but like always he did his best.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing today's blog just to gossip about DC's private life, it's because I always admired that amazing woman, Kay Ann Lenz. She had birthday yesterday. 3 years younger than David, a few years older than a typical DC's fan.  In the 70s I heard quite a lot about Kay Lenz . She was very popular in Poland, like the rest of the cast of 'Rich Man, Poor Man'. Let's first listen to something which was not released, why they didn't want David singing that song is a great mystery for me. Listening to his young, sincere, innocent and magical voice is one in a kind moving experience. 'I Just Hated Being In The Show..'

Last week someone posted a screenshot of the article from May 1974, unfortunately without the date or the name of the paper. Written by a popular journalist Roderick Gilchrist, I think it was Daily Express. We can read that this interview took place at London Weekend Television's Building, on the day before the DC's last concert in Manchester.  And David said, "I feel like the door to the cage has just been opened. And, any minute now I'm going to be able to fly right away from my prison.
