Every morning while drinking my first coffee I read what I've got on my email from 'Uncle' Google. I have Google Alerts set on David Cassidy and The Partridge Family. I read everything and send our webmaster only interesting info. It's a very educational kind of work. 95% are trash (from my point of view). Old DC and TPF's photos, the memorabilia people sell online and..how to call them, maybe 'new merchandise', clothes, blankets or watches with DC face on them.

Quite a lot of articles are about former and current stars who at some point at their career performed with David Cassidy. Most articles about Emma Stone mention her debut in 2004, on a  reality show called 'In Search Of The New Partridge Family'. On YT there is a fragment of finale of that program, with Shirley, Danny, Suzanne, Brian, Dave Madden and ..David. It's very moving to watch them together.

As we know that show produced only an unsold pilot. But forget Emma Stone. Now a lot of alerts I get is about..Austin Robert Butler. When I got the first one I didn't recognize him. Of course he is older and has different hair. The star of the upcoming film. The new ..Elvis

Can you see it? More than 8 million views, and it's only a trailer. Unbelievable. And when I recognized him I thought 'what David Cassidy would have thought about it, about that young man and that new musical.'. David saw Elvis in concert, knew him and Priscilla, and Lisa Marie Presley who loved David and The Partridge Family. 

Austin Butler was born in 1991 in California. He started his career in 2005 as an extra on many tv shows. The role of Jordan Gallagher wasn't his debut. Let's see the 'Ruby and the Rockits'' trailer.

As a teen Austin taught himself how to play guitar and piano and he sang a few songs on 'Ruby'

Not bad. What a shame that 'Ruby' was cancelled after just one season. Will write about it more tomorrow..

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971..And there was a comment about that episode that the script was poorly written, sexist etc. Maybe, no one would dare write something like that now, but the world looked different half a century ago..And I really felt sad yesterday because of Robyn. It's from Kevin Fallon's article published on www.thedailybeast.com on November  22, 2017.  Maybe it's not the smartest thing to do, but the newest article about David Cassidy on Record Collector Magazine, and first of all different pointsview of it, made me have a look on some articles published after this horrible day,  November 21, 2017.
