All Because Of You / Sue Shifrin, Jon Lind

It could have been a world hit. For Cher in 1989. A song from her multi platinum album, 'Heart Of Stone'. But it wasn't released as a single.

A year later David Cassidy recorded it as a duet with his future wife. I can hear their joy and happiness of working together, singing together. If someone doesn't know English, he might think that this is a very joyful song.

Maybe 'Crazy Over You' should have been on that album, instead of a song already known, but it's a testimony of their happiness, and  Sue Shifrin was a very talented songwriter.

It's a shame that some fans have no idea about the songs Sue Shifrin wrote, but know better how  David Cassidy's private life looked like.

Anyway I've thought about that songs while reading  about The London Music Walk Of Fame Criteria. DC meets the criteria on more than one count. Music Icon of course and Inspirational. He inspired many people in music business and in the horse breeding industry.

But who knows maybe the most important was and is how he inspired I don't know how many people all around the globe, just ordinary fans, boys and girls, men and women, to be more interested in music. To start singing, playing instruments, or just get to know more about the history of music.

I haven't started playing guitar again, like my friend Claudette, but because of David Cassidy I've learned so much about music and I'm so grateful for it. Because I was brought up in a communist country I knew only what I was allowed to know. It can be said that David Cassidy complemented my musical education and it's given me a lot of pleasure and..yes, made me happy.
