Of course I know a little bit, how he looked like, that he played guitar, collaborated with John Cale (Velvet Underground) and with the Velvet's vocalist and Andy Warhol's muse, German singer Nico.
Both Adam Miller albums (1972, 1974) were produced by Wes Farrell, released on the Wes's own label, Chelsea Records. Terry Cashman and Tommy West also produced some of his songs and even did backing vocals on them. On his first record played : Max Bennett, Larry Carlton, Hal Blaine, Louie Shelton and Mike Melvoin. And what a title! 'Who Would Give His Only Song Away'. He did it. He gave away his best songs to David Cassidy. And David Cassidy was an outstanding performer of his work.

Keith Atack and his band 'Child' did a cover of it, but this song only looks easy to sing and better forget about their version.
David Cassidy wrote about 'Cherish' album and some of the songs from it, but not about Adam Miller's. On Rock Me Baby' there are 2 other Adam's songs, and this time we can read about them in the DC's autobiography : "Song Of Love' and 'Soft As A Summer Shower' were Wes Farrell additons to the album, in an effort to try to lock me into The Partridge Family Bag'. What did he mean by this ?? That it was Wes who chose those songs..? Or Wes wrote them?? Wes was Adam?
David didn't want to sing this kind of sugary, bubblegum pop..but I can't help it, I love them. And also those wrote by Adam Miller for TPF - 'Storybook Love' (with Wes) and 'As Long As You're There'. On his second album Adam Miller did a cover of his own song, recorded by David Cassidy in 1972..
