Keeping Our Love Alive / Richard Supa

The fans got this song (and another one) from David Cassidy's second wife, Meryl Tanz. You can't find a lot of info about them, and those songs are not on the list on the DC Official Website (I don't know why). Have no idea who wrote them. All credits go to Meryl Ann Tanz. The songs were recorded in 1982, in Nashville, and released in 2019 by Meryl Tanz. We can find two notes about those recordings on the website, in 'In Print' section. So on September 18, 1982, CashBox Magazine

"..Also in Nashville has been David Cassidy of Partridge Family fame, returning from a six-year hiatus from recording to work on a new LP at Sound Emporium with Larry Butler producing.'

On January 27, 1983, on The Lethbridge Herald:

"David Cassidy just completed a country-and western vocal album in Nashville.'. Larry Butler was (he died in 2012 ), a known country music producer, songwriter and pianist. He worked with Kenny Rogers.

I've read all comments..What can I say, I understand that all fans wrote how they had loved those songs. We love everything what DC recorded, and sure his voice was fabulous..but personally I think that even in 1982 those songs were like from another past era, and sang by someone..old,  and after all David was only 32. It took him another 2 years to start working on a new, this time very exciting  material, and on a new sensational image.

David Cassidy didn't mention his unreleased recordings, he wasn't happy when in 1991, 'Best of David Cassidy' CD was appeared with the songs recorded in 1979. Of course in 1991 he was a recording successful artist again, and he played completely different music. And he never mentioned those Nashville's recordings. I understand why, but I think now situation is different. We want, we need those songs..for many different reasons.

And 'Keeping Our Love Alive', the title of that song is so symbolic now, nearly 5 years after his passing.

Our PETITION, The London Music Walk Of Fame, not doing great recently, but we will not give up so easily
