Driving With David..

Something very short and personal this evening.

I thought that  I'll not write anything today, was so busy in Warsaw..but I've just returned home, to my forest, 10.30 p.m. is maybe not so late, but not in the place I live. But the song first, wrote by David Cassidy, Gerry Beckley and a true legend, Brian Wilson, sang by David, Gerry Beckley and Jay Gruska. 'Get your car, get your car..'

I must confess that sometimes  ..maybe  not laugh, but I smile when I see the pics with DC as a guardian angel. But how many times, when I'm nervous or have some problems, it's enough to start driving and listening to his music to calm down and smile again.

I have no idea how many kilometers I drove in the company of David, his music. A lot.. My all neighbours know my car and the music I play in it, and sing. The first 2 km from my house is just a local country road, you can't  drive fast, also because of animals walking that road..dogs, cats, foxes, squirrels, hares, frogs, ducks..sometimes deer or wild boars. So I  always starts slowly and carefully, with this song..

And how many times I return home late at night in complete darkness, and today evening I was the only driver on the road for the last 6 km. No passer-by, no one. Only me and the DC's music. And suddenly I've felt such gratitude that I'm not alone on this road..

Maybe nothing important, but that's the way it is..

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971..And there was a comment about that episode that the script was poorly written, sexist etc. Maybe, no one would dare write something like that now, but the world looked different half a century ago..And I really felt sad yesterday because of Robyn. It's from Kevin Fallon's article published on www.thedailybeast.com on November  22, 2017.  Maybe it's not the smartest thing to do, but the newest article about David Cassidy on Record Collector Magazine, and first of all different pointsview of it, made me have a look on some articles published after this horrible day,  November 21, 2017.
