David Cassidy Japan Tour. Chapter 7

The time after an important event is always difficult. The 5th anniversary of the day David Cassidy died was 3 days ago. Some fans (including me)  met in London,  it was great to be together just for a few hours, talking and remembering DC.

Our pics from November21st have been published, some the DC's friends have shared their memories  with us.. Time to return to reality, to the world without DC and to our daily task to keep that flame burning. Keeping his legacy alive.

It's not easy, the new videos or articles don't appear every day even that we search Internet non stop looking for sth new. Thanks to Lord Montagu and Sharron Liddle we have a new tribute to David, an information board near the location of the riverbank where David went fishing with the current Lord's mum in 1973. And a new chapter from DC Japan Tour 1974 appeared 3 days ago.

Maybe a song first. It has been cloudy today, the first snow this year which hasn't improved my mood..Ain't No Sunshine.

The first part of that audio (DC Japan Tour 1974), was published on YT a year ago. Originally it was not just an audio, but a tv program. The Japanese tv show called 'Love Sounds Special', aired on April 9, 1974. It was not a full concert, but some songs from the final DC's gig in Japan, performed on March 28, 1974, in Tokyo.

During the last year, 7 fragments of that audio were published, wonderfully edited, great sound and a lot of info. Also some material never heard or seen before. So in the chapter 1 we have a full setlist of that concert, and the names of the musicians playing for and with David. The David Cassidy Group. And last but not least a fantastic opening number. A fragment of 'To Take You Higher', faster and more exciting than the original..(Sly and the Family Stone)

In addition to the songs, a radio interview was also published. David speaking about his career and plans, the land he bought in Hawaii, the friendship with Shirley, the importance of family ties..Just amazing, outstanding quality of sound, like being in the same room with them, David and the Japanese journalist. And while listening we can watch some very rare pics, everything is beautifully edited, a true labor of love this video is..
