Not So Ordinary Fans

Today the transcript of a conversation from the Bret Easton Ellis Show has been published.

The interview with Quentin Tarantino.

Both of them born in the 60s (QT in 1963), they have talked a lot how it was  wonderful to be a teen in the 70s. The joy of going to cinema, a lot of great, really important movies, everybody watched them. Quentin Tarantino : 'Even in elementary school we talked about movies we saw.'.

So true, I remember the same. TV was also important, a lot of the shows being watched by whole families. Now it's hard to imagine something like that.

And music, Quentin Tarantino again :

'The pop sound of The Partridge Family, which I appreciate to this day. I actually think David Cassidy is one of the most underrated vocalist in rock history..'

Just wonderful, the music, the sound, and the David Cassidy's singing. His joy. I love this song so much. Here is he link to that conversation

Yes, Quentin Tarantino is a fan, and DC once said that he actually had offered him a role in one of his films, but DC had other commitments. What a shame. And do you know that Leonard Cohen was a fan too ? And he wasn't a 7 year old kid in 1970 (like Quentin). He was 36, and  a member of The Partridge Family Fan Club.

And the first album bought by Brooke Shields ?..Yes, 'Cherish'. And Lisa Kudrow run a local DC fan club..That list is long.
