"It's Sad That We Don't See You..'

Timothy Bruce Schmit had a birthday yesterday. Born in 1947, one of those very talented young and very cool musicians who in the 70s recorded great music in Los Angeles.

They competed with each other, but they also were working and had a great time together. Timothy B. Schmit twice replaced Randy Meisner as a bassist and vocalist, first for Poco, later the Eagles. As a member of the Eagles was inducted into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame.

This is something.. I can't find the right word, but yes, it's sad that so many of David Cassidy's friends from the 70s, also Timothy B. Schmit, have achieved recognition, got the most prestigious and significant awards in the music industry, and David, who was not inferior to them in any way..you know. That's really unjust.

In 1979 DC recorded a song written by Timothy for Poco. This is one of my favourite DC's song. His voice is so mesmerising, seductive, there is something so adictive about that song, I've been singing  myself all day long, 'I can see everything, it's all in your smile, all of the special things about you..' DC's cover of that song is better than the original.

This video was posted a year ago, not many views (at least 20 are mine), and just 3 comments. And someone has written, 'It's sad that we don't see you any more (actually Moor) now'. Nothing special of course, but sometimes you read something and it sticks in your mind, even if a sentence is not very correct.  It's happened to me today. Maybe because tomorrow is All Saints' Day, a very important and free day for everybody in my country. We will visit cementeries, put flowers and light candles, remembering our loved ones and other people who are not with us anymore.

It's very sad..
