Jessica Chastain, a very known actress and a global movie star, and she is a very successful one, she got an Academy Award in 2022, and also got a Golden Glob, and during her career was nominated  for Emmy and for Tony awards, and many others, she is a real celebrity, anyway, she was on Jimmy Fallon's show on December 16. This year. She was to promote her new film and you should know that around 1,3 million viewers watch The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. And in one moment during her interview, Jessica Chastian has said what and who inspired her to become an actress..

She was born in 1977, and David performed in 'Joseph And Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'  from March to September of 1983, and later toured the USA and Canada. Her grandma took her to see the show..It has made me feel old at first, but also inspired me, because my younger grandson is a born actor (and a charmer), and maybe it's time to go to the theatre with him. He is only 3,5 years old, the same age when DC saw his father on stage..

We know of course that David inspired hundred of thousands of teens, all over the world in the 70s. In many ways, not only to become musicians. I've written about it many times. As Boy George wrote after David had died, 'David Cassidy was the biggest heartthrob of the 70's. Every boy wanted to look like him. His voice was like velvet.'

While searching for something on YT, I've watched this today, it was a pure accident, very moving..David is remembered nearly at the end of this video. 3 wonderful photographs and a fragment of his biggest hit..

Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing today's blog just to gossip about DC's private life, it's because I always admired that amazing woman, Kay Ann Lenz. She had birthday yesterday. 3 years younger than David, a few years older than a typical DC's fan.  In the 70s I heard quite a lot about Kay Lenz . She was very popular in Poland, like the rest of the cast of 'Rich Man, Poor Man'. That tv series was shown in my country I think in 1978, and everybody watched it, also a lot was written about the cast. So one day I read that Kay's husband was a former teen idol, David Cassidy. 'I Just Hated Being In The Show..'

Last week someone posted a screenshot of the article from May 1974, unfortunately without the date or the name of the paper. Written by a popular journalist Roderick Gilchrist, I think it was Daily Express. We can read that this interview took place at London Weekend Television's Building, on the day before the DC's last concert in Manchester.  And David said, "I feel like the door to the cage has just been opened. And, any minute now I'm going to be able to fly right away from my prison.
