What Is The Most Popular David's Video?

I'm in a bit of Christmas mood already, so nothing serious today. Someone has posted, (sorry but I haven't noticed on which group) a link to The Partridge Family's video, with a comment that this is the most popular DC's video on YT.

David Cassidy as the world remembers him, smiling, and so beautiful. And of course  many fans want to remember just such David. Recently a new video from 1985 has appeared on the website, and most comments were about David's hair. That his dark, long hair in the 70s was much better. A blond DC wasn't so cute. No, blond wasn't for him. Poor David..

But let's return to 'Breaking Up Is Hard To Do', this video has nearly 2 millions hits, impressive number, but of course the most popular DC's song on YT is 'I Think I Love You'. There are some videos with The Partridge Family's original, one is only audio, and all of them have roughly counting 30 millions views. This one itself has 15 millions.

Of course it's not very important, I've looked up those videos and counted those views just for fun. But I've also checked Donny Osmond's 'Puppy Love' and (I don't know why really) Barry Manilow's 'I Write The Songs', and the number of views was comparable.

We know all those videos and we wait impatiently for the new ones. We can only count on luck that something will be found and that we will be able to see it..somehow. Gary..thank you, anyway.

Or we know that there was a video, a live recording, but we only have audio. This was the case with David Cassidy Japan Tour. The audio of Japanese TV Show "Love Sounds Special' (so true!). It was aired on April 9, 1974, and the quality was just sensational. Each video was beautifully edited, with pics, there was also an interview with David, not only fragments from his concert from March 28. I've chosen Chapter 6 with the best David Cassidy's (and his band's) live version of 'I'm a Man'. Just amazing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not writing today's blog just to gossip about DC's private life, it's because I always admired that amazing woman, Kay Ann Lenz. She had birthday yesterday. 3 years younger than David, a few years older than a typical DC's fan.  In the 70s I heard quite a lot about Kay Lenz . She was very popular in Poland, like the rest of the cast of 'Rich Man, Poor Man'. They Said I Changed A Lot..

Let's first listen to something which was not released, why they didn't want David singing that song is a great mystery for me. Listening to his young, sincere, innocent and magical voice is one in a kind moving experience. 'I Just Hated Being In The Show..'

Last week someone posted a screenshot of the article from May 1974, unfortunately without the date or the name of the paper. Written by a popular journalist Roderick Gilchrist, I think it was Daily Express. We can read that this interview took place at London Weekend Television's Building, on the day before the DC's last concert in Manchester.  And David said, "I feel like the door to the cage has just been opened. And, any minute now I'm going to be able to fly right away from my prison.
