'All Spelling By Me..'
'Cassidy Live!', the last David's album for Bell Records. Released in Germany, Japan, Spain, the US, Yugoslavia, France, Austria, Brasil and Australia.
The single 'Please, Please Me / CC Rider/ Jenny Jenny' hit no 16 on July 27, 1974, 6 weeks on charts. And I've written it once, but I repeat again. My younger daughter after listening to it said, "You know mum I've heard this song so many times by The Beatles, but only listening to your David's (hahaha) version I know what this song is about."

Really outstanding cover, it makes me feel sorry I'm not 20 again..
'Cassidy Live!', produced by David himself and Barry Ainsworth, hit no 9 in the UK on August 3, 1974, 7 weeks on the chart. And last year I bought this album (with a poster) for 5 quids at fabulous Kellys Records in Cardiff. It's an independent record store founded in 1969, I bought only two albums, another one was 'Crossword Puzzle', but I was treated there like a friend and the best possible customer. Wonderful experience, you can't imagine how happy I was, the album looked brand new, with a poster of course, I brought it home and it's so emotional to have original vinyls.

David Cassidy's written notes are on the poster. He didn't write himself many things published in his name on countless of teen magazines, but the liners notes on his solo albums are his own. His own words written by him. David's handwriting..not easy to read, but it's worth a try..
"Here below are a few of the players and friends who managed to survive the entire three months. Mind you there were many others of course, but they somehow found a way to elude the lens of the MadTad..(Henry Diltz). Some of them deserve much more than just a mention of thanks..Much more, but they only gave me so much space.."

"They are, and not in special order, Art Munson, Dave Garland and Dennis Parker (who played the first part of our journey..but abandoned ship...not that I blame them.) Don Murfet, Jerry Slater, Bill Francis, Kim Carnes, Dave Ellingson, Jim Seiter. Thanks to John Locke and Scott Musick and Barry Ainsworth who recorded and engineered it all and helped me pick it all together.."
"Oh - and of course to many thousands who stood in the hot and in the cold, wind and rain and sleet and snow, but never soured..and kept us doing our dance..Those who saw it all, who we played for. We (me) love you. And so here it is - good and bad, the highs + lows, all the dams (and we all made 'em and the cookin and the jams. Edited of course, but like it or not, i think it's fairly honest representation of what went down out there..It's Raw.
