'Everything Is Fabulous' or David Cassidy And Carrie Fisher
There is a list on The David Cassidy Official Website, with more than 600 David Cassidy's TV guest appearances. It's not a list of videos we have, sometimes there is only info about a program he guest starred, sometimes only the title of the show, often without an exact date, sometimes is just a month and a year. Or some pics which somehow is even more annoying, because that means that a video exists, only we've had no luck.
And sometimes a miracle happens, as it happened last year when this video appeared after 50 years! I couldn't believe my eyes when I first watched it, because I knew some pics from that program and it was like suddenly those pics started moving..that was truly surreal experience, and it's still so emotional watching David Cassidy on Estelar Del Sabado, in 1973. He was singing live and he looked so beautiful.

It was also a nice surprise, when last year, on DC's birthday, a very short, but priceless for us, fans, video was published on The David Cassidy Official Website. February 1967. DC was only 16, and of course everybody always knew whose son he was..

And there is one more category. Unexpected finds. Like today. An unknown David Cassidy TV appearance. This one was from September 1987. Not good quality, but it's not important. The important thing is that DC wasn't the only guest on this program. The other one was Carrie Fisher. I've been always a fan of Carrie Fisher. Star Wars, Blues Brothers, the books she wrote, her marriage to Paul Simon, and her battle with drug addiction and being bio-polar.
It's so emotional watching two of them, both showbiz kids, difficult childhood, younger step-siblings, both started their career on Broadway. Both David Cassidy and Carrie Fisher achieved their biggest success at the beginning, became stars and celebrities at 20.
Watching them together, sitting on that sofa, joking, laughing, flirting, excited like two kids, with the same kind of humor, understanding each other without words. Both in difficult moment of their lives. Carrie Fisher, after divorce, was promoting her book, 'Postcards from the Edge' which was about her own difficult experiences.
David, after his second divorce, in debt (and with a child he didn't want to pay for), he still performed in 'Time' but his contract was soon to end, and he didn't get a role in 'Phantom At the Opera' as he wanted. David said at the end of this interview that he didn't know what he was going to do..But the show must go on, 'everything is fabulous', and both him and Carrie were lauging and smiling and even more..
