Together We're Better /Tony Romeo, Ken Jacobson
From 'Notebook' album, released in 1972, a song about a boy and a girl, but I've thought about it today in connection with us, David Cassidy's fans. Because we are really better together, especially now. Of course there are still millions of people all around the world who remember DC, his glory days, his music, but I think about those fans who belong to DC groups on social media, and still want to write and read about David Cassidy and his legacy.
I wouldn't be able to write my blog for so long without the help of other fans. The list of fans who have helped me writing my blog is very long and worth a separate, special entry. No one has ever refused to help me or information, and even a dozen or so people have written for my blog. Every day I feel the support of fans and friendly interest. Thank you.

I love this song, that music scene and David's unhappy face. And his smile at the end of this video.
Together we're better, united. And today is Sunday and I've thought about the time, not so long ago, when fans together were listening to The David Cassidy Show on Seabird Radio. Pauline Tombs 3 years ago wrote for my blog how it was started. Seabird Radio was one of the many local and online radio stations which on request from admin of the David Cassidy Group, played David's music on the 2nd Anniversary, on 21/11/2019.
Pauline Tombs, "I thanked Seabird Radio, for their support on the day and received a nice email back, that they would be happy to play any request. (..) In January, I was thinking about maybe getting a few tracks of David Cassidy played, for Valentine's Day and thought Hmmm I'll contact Seabird Radio!
Wow! was I glad I did, because Paul who is basically Seabird Radio, came back to me with fabulous offer!. He had an available slot on Sunday evenings, if we would like something permanent! The matter was discussed and due to licencing etc, the show could not be solely David Cassidy, but would be his show with the bulk of the show being his music!
The David Cassidy show was born January/February 2020.
The music played is by request, being sent into Seabird Radio, FB page."
And for 3 years Paul Thomas with Pauline Tombs and later Sandie Leeming's help was doing this show called The David Cassidy show, and fans not only from Europe listened together every Sunday afternoon as David Cassidy's songs were played on the radio again. Yes, I know, it was just one-person online radio and just a handful of fans listening to it, but nevertheless, it was really something. And also something we took for granted. But last year it was the end of it, and sometimes I miss The David Cassidy Show on a Sunday afternoon.
Once my request was also played. It was so emotional listening to this song on the radio
