You don't know what to admire more, David's fabulous, velvety and sensual voice, his incredible hair, or his smile. Amazing.

Two days ago one reader, a fellow fan, Jane Blakie, wrote some very kind words about my blog, how she learnt a lot about DC reading it, about research I did, and she added, "David was such a brilliant man in many areas not just his music, I'm sure there must be a couple of more stones to over turn.". 

I liked her witty remark, smiled to myself..and thought about it a little bit. Are there any more stones to over turn and do I want to look for them?

And let's face it, fans first of all want to know about David's private life, when and with whom, and the names of those lucky ladies. When I started publishing my book on the blog, I was asked a few times, "Have you found something new?" And, yes I have, but not about David Cassidy's private life. And many fans were disappointed.

David Cassidy was a very private man. He talked a lot, but all the time the same stories, it was another acting task for him. Yes, he wrote a lot in his autobiography, but 1. some of those stories were already known from his earlier interviews, also his affair with Meredith Baxter, 2. there are a lot of rock stars biographies from that era even more shocking, and 3. in the second part of the book, covering the time after 1974, there is almost nothing on personal topics. Sure he wrote about lost money, his wives, kids or hobbies, but mostly it was about work. And how happy he was with his life after 1990. Yes, we can find a sentence or two about alcohol, that he couldn't drink it anymore, or how he loved women, but that's all.

DC said in an interview, in May 1994, "No one ever knew what I was doing. My personal life is where I always been able to pull down the courtain"

And that's how it should stay. And that should be enough for us.

Instead we should do everything related to his career. Every article is important, every rediscovered video, an unknown pic. I still hope that there are recordings/demos somewhere, forgotten and waiting to be discovered.

But of course in the time of AI we must be very careful, what is an authentic find and what is a fake. And yesterday I saw a very short AI-generated video in which young DC hugs some gentleman. It was made a few days ago, by a daughter of this gentleman, a surprise for his birthday. Yes, I've read quite a lot about AI, what can be done using it, but one thing is read about something and quite another to see it. And I'm really worried.

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971..And there was a comment about that episode that the script was poorly written, sexist etc. Maybe, no one would dare write something like that now, but the world looked different half a century ago..And I really felt sad yesterday because of Robyn.
