I Remember ...March

I know it was April, but it should have been March. 
'I remember March, in rain and in the sun, the love was burning in our eyes..' or something like that. The most important month for David Cassidy and his fans. I know. because I was the one who finished 'On This Day' project for the website, and the highest number of events regarding DC happened  in March. Especially in the 70s.

The most memorable, important, legendary David Cassidy's concerts took place in that month. The first and the last ones. 

The Astrodome and MSG in 1972.  De Doelen, Belle Vue and Empire Pool in 1973. Australia, Hong Kong and Japan in 1974. Every single pic, video or audio is priceless. We have 2 great documentaries of course, 'To Australia With Love' and 'Weekend At Wembley', both managed to show DC's phenomenon, this frenzy surrounding him, and at the same time what a wonderful, caring human being he was, and an amazing, exciting  live performer.

TV guest appearances in March 1973 are so special. Estelar Del Sabado in Spain, DC on Antwerp TV with short interviews and fragment of his Antwerp concert, and David on Blue Peter in the UK. Is it possible he took part only in Blue Peter while in the UK? I don't think so. His schedule was very tight, concerts first of all, press conferences, radio programs etc, but only once on TV?

And in March 1973 David Cassidy was in Paris. For 2 days or even 3, we have two different dates of his arriving in Paris. On the list on the website there is March 6, 'On This Day' there is March 5. Maybe it's not very important, but I like the facts to be right. And of course it's WRONG. EVERYTHING. How it's possible Ive never noticed it before? Only today..He wasn't in Paris at all in March 1973..

I've checked  a booklet, DC in Europe, not a single word about David in France in 1973, but first of all this video is not from March 1973, no way. 1. Daydreamer was recorded later, in summer of 1973. 2. David looked that way in...May 1974, not March 1973. And we have a short note on the website (without the video) that on May 4, 1974 David sang 'Daydreamer'...What a mess..

Robyn Millan

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971..And there was a comment about that episode that the script was poorly written, sexist etc. Maybe, no one would dare write something like that now, but the world looked different half a century ago..And I really felt sad yesterday because of Robyn. It's from Kevin Fallon's article published on www.thedailybeast.com on November  22, 2017.  Maybe it's not the smartest thing to do, but the newest article about David Cassidy on Record Collector Magazine, and first of all different pointsview of it, made me have a look on some articles published after this horrible day,  November 21, 2017.
