Any Dream Will Do/ Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice.
I'm in awe of what Sharron Liddle and the members of the Group have achieved, what they have done to commemorate David Cassidy in the UK. Great ideas, determination, a lot of time and also money, but first of all love for David.
In the evening, at the same Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre (btw it was opened in 1929, and it's the second largest theatre in the UK after the Hammersmith Apollo), they saw 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' with...Donny Osmond as a Pharaoh. And what's more they met Donny before and after the show. You can see pics from that amazing Edinburgh's visit on the David Cassidy Great Britain Legacy Group.
What can I say. Reading about it, seeing another David Cassidy's plaque, the pics with Donny Osmond..it's been very emotional and of course I keep listening today to 'Any Dream Will Do'.

David Cassidy played 'Joseph' from March until September 1983, and later toured USA and Canada. Actually 41 years ago, on December 6, David performed in that show, in Toronto, Canada.
'Joseph' was David Cassidy's great success. He was invited to many TV programes, there was also a lot of press reviews. DC was praised for his voice, charisma, stage presence, knowledge how to work the audience, his acting skills, even for his sex-appeal. One critic, Tom Carter, noticed, "Cassidy is a strong Las Vegas-style performer with a voice to match his stage presence"

2 years ago, my FB friend Judy West, wrote for us about seeing David Cassidy on Broadway, in 1983. Thank you Judy so much.
