Treat Me Like You Used To/David Cassidy, Sue Shifrin, Mark Spiro/
I haven't planned to write that post, but while gathering info about David's album from 1990 called 'David Cassidy' , I've been watching some videos on YT, and reading fans' comments..And people have no idea how talented and very successful songwriter was Sue Shifrin. What more, some fans think that it was David who wrote eg 'All Because Of You'.and some other songs. Wrong, and truly speaking it's not so difficult to check info if someone wants to. Of course it's easier to write..you know what..
So this is the post about a songwriter, Sue Linda Shifrin Cassidy. I hope you will have a look and listen to those great artists singing this very talented (and underestimated) woman's songs..
All Because Of You - written by Sue Shifrin and Jon Lind, from Cher 1989 album 'Heart Of Stone' , this album was sold more than 4 million copies worldwide , 'If I Could Turn Back Time' was a great hit from that record, if Sue's song was chosen, it would have been number 1 too
David sang a cover of that song on his album from 1990.

From The Pointer Sisters' 'So Excited!' album, 1982. In her book 'Still So Excited. My Life As A Pointer Sister' , Ruth Pointer wrote that it was a potential single ,but their producer thought it was too controversial, about a woman considering an affair with her boy friend's best friend
