How Long Is Too Long..

or 'David's hair couldn't be too long.' Just amazing how his hair looked in that music scene. Centre and front it was, his very long, very shining hair..

I've watched it today, because  exactly 50 years ago  this episode was first aired. The Diplomat. With Richard Mulligan and of course Pat Harrington Jr., such an amazing man (I've read about him a lot, what a life he had). Pat Harrington was twice on The Partridge Family, first as Harry in 'Danny And The Mob', aired on November 6, 1970. He met with David again, in 1980, on The Love Boat..He played Prince Hassan. I bet they had a great fun together on and off the set.

And there is a new, just of wonderful quality copy of that episode, and..wow DC and those gorgeous girls..to be one of them..I've been carried away a little bit watching today David with moustache..

But let's return to How Long Is Too Long. From 'Bulletin Board', written by Tom Bahler, who actually was the real producer of that last Partridge Family's album, and Tony Asher..And Tony Asher..wow, maybe you don't know but he co-wrote 8 SONGS for one of the most important albums in the history of pop music, The Beach Boys' 'Pet Sounds'. 8 songs, including 'God Only Knows'. Wow again. Really outstanding people wrote music for Partridge Family, for David.

I've started with David's hair, let's finish with David (and his long hair), and another boat. That episode preceded The Diplomat', first aired on October 27, 1973..
