In 2013 David Cassidy played 5 concerts with Mickey Dolenz and Peter Noone. One in March, three in September and one in October. They were called, 'David Cassidy Presents The World's Greatest Teen Idols.' A catchy title. 

But I've forgotten that he performed with Peter Noone earlier that year, maybe not exactly together, Peter Noone was opening for him 3 times (according to the website), and we have an annoucement about the 1st of those concerts at Winstar Casino (Thackerville, OK), 'David Cassidy and Herman's Hermits featuring Peter Noone'

And we have even more impressive poster about the next one gig on February 1, 2013 at the Arena Theatre in Houston.

I don't know if that concert in Houston took place at all, anyway we have some wonderful pics of David from January 27 and February 2, 2013. Those three concerts were the first David's public appearances after his mother died on December 23, 2012.

After those concerts someone had a bright idea and already in February such announcement appeared in the press, and could be heard on the radio, "Dust off your old copies of Tiger Beat and get ready for the musical extravaganza of the year. Three pop superstars of yesteryear - The Partridge Family star David Cassidy, The Monkees' Mickey Dolenz and Herman's Hermits frontman Peter Noone - will team up for a yearlong tour that will take them across North America. The World's Greatest Teen Idols."

After all there were five concerts, and how I wish I had been in the audience. Great, unforgettable hits, David, Mickey and Peter in great shape and amazing vocal form, on stage together all the time,  wonderful band playing for them, enthusiastic audience..they were really one in a kind great gigs..And this last number, how appropriate. Great Stray Cats' hit from 1981. 'Rock This Town'. Sure they did.

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971..And there was a comment about that episode that the script was poorly written, sexist etc. Maybe, no one would dare write something like that now, but the world looked different half a century ago..And I really felt sad yesterday because of Robyn.
