How To Find Articles On The Official Website Of David Cassidy
Not a very catchy title, more like a manual not a blog about someone so charismatic and exciting as DC was. Of course for people who everyday use the website and the info gathered there, everything is very easy, especially since Jane changed the main page a few years ago.
I have my share in it, because when she asked for my opinion, I said that first of all the access to the 'In Print' section should have been much easier. And it is now.
But maybe first a song. From 'Gettin' It In The Street' album, David Cassidy's version is amazing, the 'original cover', he made a new song out of a Harry Nilsson's rather average number, David's is soulful and full of passion. So exciting..and his voice is pure magic. The Story of Rock and Roll.

According to manuals on creating a good website, we have listed too many sections on our main page. But of course it's DC's 'fault', his career was multidimensional, and fans, especially from the US, Australia and Europe, managed to gather tens of thousands varius items. To say that the collections of the website are priceless and absolutely unique, is to say nothing.
One more song. My car broke down a week ago (it's ok now), and while walking a mile to the nearest shop I've been listening to this song often. '...the kid who bought the wreck..'

So at the top of the homepage we have - Biography, Music, Concerts, Fans, TV/Films/Radio, Theatre, In Print, Photos, Merchandise, Memorabilia and The Band.
And when we click 'In Print', a whole wonderful world will open for us (if I can put it this way). Books (on David and written by him): Songbooks & Sheet Music ; Magazines ; DC in Australia In 2002 (a lot of articles) ; Newspapers Articles (those which appeared on traditional newspapers), the first articles about DC are from 1968 ; Web Pages Articles ; Chat Transcripts (with David chatting with fans online and answering their questions) ; Letters From David..and some others, but those are the most important.
I hope this short manual will be helpful.
The pic is from Songbooks & Sheet Music Section, from the book called The Partridge Family Sound Magazine, with the music and lyrics to all the songs from that album, and some info and pics.
