It was a day to remember, and after 24 hours I'm trying to write down how we, David's fans, all over the world, remembered David Cassidy on a day which would have been his 75th birthday, So many wonderful, truly touching things happened during this last weekend.

Maya James, my FB friend, and dear fellow fan, has put it the best. 'It's wonderful how many Facebook pages are acknowledging David on his 75th birthday and seeing his beautiful face plastered everywhere just like our bedrooms used to be.' Not only Facebook pages. Also on Twitter, Instagram and Threads.

There were a lot of posts, David was remembered by the members of his family, his famous friends, but first of all by fans. Those lucky ones, who'd met him in person or seen him on stage, shared their precious photographs and wrote about their sorrow and gratitude. And also the rest of us, fans from all over the world, remembered David Cassidy on this special day.

Johnny Ray Miller shared especially poignant post. About David's brother, Ryan who phoned him, and their coversation about David, and the future, about 'all the possiblities going forward'. I hope Johnny Ray Miller will have nothing against that I quote a fragment from his post, but it's really something special. "In memory of David, I paid tribute to the idea of possibilities. David believed in his own possibilities, and so many of them came true. David believed in my possibilities, and it changed my life" I never met David Cassidy, but I can say the same.

Jon Provost remembered David ; Anthea Turner and Keith Atack wrote to fans from David Cassidy Great Brtan Legacy Group. Wonderful Denise Ames met with Sam Hyman, and she is also the author of the article which will appear in May issue of ReMIND Magazine, to mark DC's birthday. 'Wearing David Cassidy's Iconic 1970s Jacket'. It's amazing that Sam Hyman kept this jacket we all know so well, safe for so many years.

Fans from Sharron Liddle's David Cassidy Great Britain Group met in London. There were flowers and a memorial book at St. Giles in the Fields Church, Could It Be Forever - A Tribute To David Cassidy Alex and his guitarist Keith performed some David's songs. There was also another meeting organized in the Netherlands by Marjon Hoogendam-Landmeter. In London there were 21 fans, in the Netherlands, 40.
