New Updates. The Articles
I've read all new (old) articles Jane has downloded on The Official Website of David Cassidy to mark April 12, 2025. Some of them are not new, we've had them for years, published on other newspapers, but it was an interesting read. The articles are mostly from the early 70s and 90s, it's a shame nothing new from 1985, when DC played his UK tour.
March 1972. A lot of notes on upcoming DC's concerts and how much he earned on them. We can read that MSG concert grossed $130,972, and because David also performed the next day, on March 12, in Bangkor, ME, he earned that weekend $172,218. Poor David, they counted (and envied) him every single dollar.
June 1972. That was interesting. It happened that David and Jack were working at the same studio at that time. DC filming TPF, and his father guest starred in another TV show. According to the article they met for the first time in 10 months. Jack Cassidy, "We've both been so busy that we hadn't seen each other since I hosted a Merv Griffin show last August and Davd guested with me.". And what more, they planned a movie together..

This one interview (August 1972) is amazing, showing how David was aware of his situation as a dream boy for millions of girls. He must have thought about it a lot. "The artist on stage is so safe. The adoration of his fans is a threat only to himself". He was only 22..

In August 1972 there were articles about filming the show in Kings Island, DC surrounded by security and police, he was mobbed by fans. The pic is from one of these articles.
There are also a lot of new articles from 1991 about David's tour in 1991, how important it was after 'Enigma' label filed for bankruptcy and couldn't promote David's self-titled album. He said, "Somebody coined a name for it the other day. They said it was kind of like my credibility tour. Okay, I'll buy that." I've chosen this one article to show you because it has slightly different and unknown to me David's pic. The number of interviews with DC from 1991 and 1992 is really impressive.

From 1993 to 1995 we've got new reviews of DC's book and his role in 'Blood Brothers'. This one is a very detailed review of the play, and interview with Petula Clark and David Cassidy.

And at the end we've got an article (actually I read it in 2017, but it's good it's on the website now) published on November 29, 2017. "A Day To Remember With David Cassidy..'
