When I've seen today this section of The Official Website of David Cassidy, for a few minutes I was speechless..The page has been completely reworked and a lot of new items have been downloaded. Wow! And one more Wow! Amazing and chapeau bas (hat off) to a person who has made it. Jane or Lanie or someone else, thank you so much. The page is beautifully done, books in alphabetical order, the year, authors, and first of all we can read those fragments where DC is mentioned. Wow again. It's amazing and sooo needed. Thank you so much.

Like a kid in a candy store, where to start. I've started with Alice Cooper's book from 2007. Not much, but what a fragment, about his concerts in 1975, "There were musicians and celebrities in our dressing room at the end of every show - John Lennon, David Cassidy, Lou Reed, Todd Rundgren, the Doors, Aerosmith, Andy Warhol". Really impressive list.

In Andrew Lloyd Webber's biography (1984), DC is not mentioned, but what a pic of David is in it!

David is mentioned in Paul McCartney's and Elton John's biographies. And in every encyclopedia or guide to United States Popular Culture. And what a story in the book called 'King Pulp : The Wild World Of Quentin Tarantino', just amazing.

He is mentioned in Jennifer Saunder's memoir and in Brittanica Book Of The Year 1973, and there are also listed books dedicated only to David, among them Louise Poynton's and Marlene Habib's.

And a lot of books about teen idols (not only from the 70s), and on male beauty (if I can put it this way). And last but not least there is a fragment from a book called 'Sticky Fingers. The Life And Times of Jann Wenner and Rolling Stone Magazine' where we can read about the famous article and even more famous pic of David taken by Annie Leibovitz...

  I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971..And there was a comment about that episode that the script was poorly written, sexist etc. Maybe, no one would dare write something like that now, but the world looked different half a century ago..And I really felt sad yesterday because of Robyn. Two Weddings In Las Vegas

First 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. The film premiered in the UK 30 years ago, on May 13, 1994.  A low budget film, made in 6 weeks, became unexpected success, all over the world, earned just mountains of money, and made of  Hugh Grant international star. It's also a film with a very strong David Cassidy's connection.  The script was written by Richard Curtis (born in 1956), whose partner (they married after many years in 2023), a popular broadcaster Emma Freud, was (and still is) a DC fan.
