Denise Ames, this incredible, beautiful woman once again amazed us and made us happy. Really life is unpredictable, who could have thought that these two would meet again and reminisce about old friendship, and a dear old, mutual friend, thanks to whom they had a time of their lives..And we could read about it and see the pics on social media.

Al Rhodes and Sam Hyman together in June 2025. We've seen Sam Hyman's pics over the years, we could watch him changing, he hasn't changed much in our eyes, but of course we've had another vision of Al Rhodes. From 1972. 53 years ago Al was a slender boy with charming, shy smile. The smile is the same. And charm and kindness, a sense of humor. Everything.

Denise Ames has shared with us pics from that meeting of old friends, and she also answered all the questions fans asked about it, and I feel as I was present there myself. So we know that Sam Hyman was nervous before the meeting, and as it often happens in such situations, when they met they were talking non stop for 4 hours as if they saw each other only yesterday and it was still the 70s.

Al Rhodes met David in the 60s, when they both were at high school. When David became a teen idol and a superstar, Al Rhodes had a column in The Tiger Beat Official Partridge Family Magazine. It was called 'David's Open House by David's Friend Al Rhodes'. Al answered all those questions asked by fans, so eager to know everything about David. In May 1972 edition someone asked, 'Do you think David chaned a lot since he became Keith Partridge?' And Al answered that of course not, he was the same. Fans asked if David talked in his sleep, what was his birthstone or which room in the house was his favourite. In June issue fans wanted to know if DC could type, did he wear all kinds of different colored socks or if David got his nails down by manicurist...

Al Rhodes remembers David Cassidy with love. The meeting of two old friends and Denise (she is our good fairy) was full of joy and laughter but also very emotional. And also for us who could read about it.

Now when with AI's help fake pics and fake songs (and soon probably fake stories and videos) appear, it's so important that we can read about genuine memories, true stories about David.   I learnt yesterday that Robyn Millan died last year. Someone published a post about the TPF's episode where she'd appeared as a guest star, 'Dora, Dora, Dora', Season 2 episode 1, aired 50 years ago, on September 17, 1971..And there was a comment about that episode that the script was poorly written, sexist etc. Maybe, no one would dare write something like that now, but the world looked different half a century ago..And I really felt sad yesterday because of Robyn. First 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. The film premiered in the UK 30 years ago, on May 13, 1994.  A low budget film, made in 6 weeks, became unexpected success, all over the world, earned just mountains of money, and made of  Hugh Grant international star. It's also a film with a very strong David Cassidy's connection.  The script was written by Richard Curtis (born in 1956), whose partner (they married after many years in 2023), a popular broadcaster Emma Freud, was (and still is) a DC fan.
