'We Really Brought Him Home'

I'm waiting for my plane to Zurich at the Kennedy Airport and thinking about those 10 days spent in the US. In New York City, West Orange and Saratoga Springs.

Such an emotional time, so meaningful, remembering it is like watching a long, exciting and very moving film, the kind where every scene and every conversation is important.

Someone said, 'We really brought him home'. So true. I feel that Barb and her wonderful team, the Mayor of West Orange, Katie and Beau, Henry Diltz, David's cousins, and every single participant, every single fan (and I mean also those who couldn't attend but were with us in spirit), like we all at last brought David Cassidy home.

I have David's autobiography in my phone, and it was amazing experience visiting those places and reading about them in his book. Nothing really has changed. His Eagle Rock school is exactly at the same place, it is the same building he was going to, and across the street the Catholic elementary school where his friends attended. It was so easy to imagine David as a kid in this peaceful surroundings, in West Orange. I was so sorry leaving this friendly community Colgate Park..David Cassidy Way. We really brought him home.

I'm afraid there are a lot of mistakes in this blog,  but I've had to write it down today. While still in New York. Waiting for my plane home.
