I think I watched this video 200 times at least, and each time is like the first time. Total admiration for his voice and his beauty.
'We'll always have London', David Cassidy and his fans. Each time in London, walking in David's footsteps, we feel his presence. It's difficult not to feel, because truly spreaking everywhere we go in London, there is a place connected with him. Places where he worked - the theaters he performed, recording studios he recorded his music, concert halls he played concerts, tv and radio studios where he was invited as a star, always a star, in every decade of his career. Hotels and apartments where he stayed and lived, famous restaurants and night clubs, popular places where he had fun and met with his famous friends. His videos' locations, or even shops where he liked buying his clothes.
He played 23 concerts in London, the first one in 1973, the last in 2012. He also performed live in tv studios. On the most famous programs, like Top Of The Pops or Terry Wogan Show.

It's amazing how he had audience at the palm of his hand, how he seduced viewers, those at the studio and those who watched the program on TV.
He performed in 'Time' at The Dominion Theatre, every night, non stop on stage for 3 and a half hours, since April 13th, to the end of September of 1987. We can't forget that the main role in the theatre is always preceded by many rehearsals, and in 'Time''s case, David Cassidy came to London at the beginning of March, and very demanding rehearsals started. We can hear how David's voice was hoarse listening to his March 27 interview on Capital Radio. There was also a lot of stress and risk taking, he talked a lot about how much work was always behind every musical, and how critics could destroy any show.

I can listen to him for hours, I love his radio intervews.
I could also write a lot more about David in London, why it was so special for him, and why it's stll so special for his fans, not only from the UK, but all his fans, all around the world. And that we should do everything we can, to keep his legend and legacy alive in London.
London was special, because there, he was accompanied by strong emotions. Nearly always DC was successful here ; all his concerts were sold out, his theatre's performances finished usually with standing ovation, he was a superstar. He also went through a huge tragedy in London. The death of a young fan, and the memory of it hunted him to the rest of his days.

And last but not least he was in love in London. He came here in March 1977, just to be with the woman he fell for, to bring her birthday present and told the whole world that they loved each other. We can see on the old photographs how happy they were, David Cassidy and Kay Lenz attending Kay's film premiere at The Rialto Theatre, in March 1977. I can't descrbe my feelings when I was inside the same building in November last year. He also met Sue Shifrin there, when he played his iconic concerts in March 1973. 14 years later, in 1987 they were so happy together living and working in London.
Yes, we'll always have London. Please donate. Let's make it happen.
