I was in the same place in August 2018.
This time it was a very short stay, I came on Tuesday (Sep 8), left on Thursday (Sep 10). Fans were supposed to meet up on September 9th, to take a part, or better say witness the unveling of David Cassidy's Stone in Camden, in London. As we all know, at the very last moment the event was cancelled again. Some fans from afar didn't stand a chance to call off planes, trains or hotels without money loss. So some decided to come. From abroad, like me from Poland, or Carolyn (the US) or Janet (Germany), or like Maya who lives rather far from London (Wales). And of course Sharron came and some fans and good friends from our Great Britain group.

I was outside that house and in the park in November 2025.
So we are chasing after rainbows, meeting with other fans, talking, and walking in David Cassidy's footsteps. Meeting other fans is always something very special and deeply moving. We share the same experience, being in love with David Cassidy for many years. We not always talk about him, we became friends and we have a lot of things to talk about, but we always walk in his footsteps.

This time the best story and the best, very moving experience had Janet from Germany. Many fans visited Hertford Street in Mayfair, to see the former Radio Luxembourg building and its famous balcony, where David Cassidy stood in 1974, his fans blocked the street and stopped the traffic. I was there too a few years ago.
But no one did what Janet did. She wanted to go inside, and she managed it the second time she visited the place. She took the chance that some works were going inside. But 1. One thing is to have an opportunity and a completely different thing is to take advantage of it 2. she convinced 2 men who worked there to let her inside and it needed courage and determination. And she managed. For a few precious and unforgettable minutes was standing on the same balcony as David in 1974. She wrote in the post published on our DC Great Britain Group, "Stepping out onto that balcony was like travelling back in time."

And our West Orange 3? As we call sometimes ourselves, Maya, Linda and me. We were looking for a place we knew DC and Henry Diltz stayed for a while, in the 70s. Mews house with secluded garden, Bayswater, very close to a Greek restaurant. We visited such a posh street and even had a dinner in popular Greek restaurant just opposite Kensington Gardens, but later we decided it was not the place. We'll try again next time. We also explored Covent Garden wondering where DC shopped or ate, met with friends etc, and we visited Camden Music Walk of Fame wondering when would we see David's Stone there..

At the end it was so hard to part, this time was too short and we already thinking about the next time.
Happy trails..till we meet again.
