David Cassidy Being Together

This is something unusual for me to write, but I'm not a fan of this song. You simply can't like everything, and I don't think I will change my mind about 'Someone'. David's voice is great of course, but.. So why writing about it? There are some reasons, the most important is that DC performed that song on his  UK tour, and I haven't finished writing about his concerts in 1985  yet. I'm going to listen to it once more, but can  anyone explain me the idea behind those pink balloons..? I wanted to publish my friend's memories, She saw DC in concert 4 times  in 1985, she also met him in person, and even that  it was  just for a few minutes, it is a great story. But only  this morning when she's read the blog ready to publish, she's said, 'No', and I want to say that I respect her decision and I understand it....

  There were a lot of articles about DC's comeback in 1985, and he appeared on many tv programmes, for national, morning, kids and music tv, he performed with pink balloons and gave an interview in a bath (and was drinking champagne),  there is a link to it for those who have  never seen it, not the best quality..but DC was amazing, one of a kind really. Oh yes, they did, and it was a mutual feeling..'The Last Kiss' debut was sensational. A great song, masterfully performed, DC using all his acting skills and charm. He also looked sensational, a new David Cassidy, blond , new haircut, slim, so sure of himself as a singer and as a man. One of my Top 10 David Cassidy's song. From his second solo album 'Rock Me Baby', released on Bell in 1972, wrote by a  mysterious artist called Adam Miller. He wrote (music and lyrics) some really outstanding songs for David and for TPF - Song of Love, Blind Hope, I Lost My Chance, and with Wes Farrell - Storybook Love. In October 1973, 48 years ago, two David Cassidy's solo album were released. Yes, I know, one of them was called The Partridge Family Bulletin Board, but it could have been called 'David Cassidy Saying Goodbye To Keith Partridge'. The final TPF album, the album  without a single,  more like DC solo record, soft ballads and rock numbers, and very adult lyrics. Both albums were released on Bell, recorded at the same studio, and great Michael  Omartian played on both of them. And  also some other musicians known from the previous TPF albums. But there were different producers, different backing vocals artists, and for 'Dreams' David chose songs himself, and some of  them co wrote.. I met Sharron Liddle nearly 3 years ago. Exactly on November 21st 2018, in London. At St Giles Church. I was there (with my English friends) to write about our misery and sorrow. Twice a year the church allows the UK fans to hold a table of remembrance for David Cassidy on the day of his birthday and  the day of his passing..On the table there were pics and candles, flowers and a book of condolence..I wrote something  ..in Polish. Sharron and Pauline were there too, everything was organized by the David Cassidy Group of Great Britain. I didn’t take part in the conversation, first because I had problems with understanding them, but mostly because I felt like an outsider. 2  years later it was Sharron who made me feel like a part of that great family of DC fans, when she invited me to be a member of DC Group of GB. .
